- Most commonly affects supraspinatus tendon

- = supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor, and subscapularis
- These muscles attach to the greater tubercle of the humerus
- Function is to stabilize the shoulder and allow for normal shoulder motion

- Surgical reinsertion of tendon with arthroscopy (not open surgery)
