Giant cell tumour of bone

- 20 – 40 years
- Clinical features
- Locally aggressive tumour (borderline between benign and malignant)
- Most commonly in distal femur or proximal tibia, close to the knee
- High recurrence rate
- Deep persistent pain
- Pathological fractures
- Diagnosis
- X-ray: Multi-cystic osteolytic lesions
- Treatment
- Curettage and filling of the tumour with bone cement
