- Congenital coxa vara is a rare congenital condition where the collodiaphyseal angle of the femur gradually decreases due to malfunction of the ossification of the femoral neck
- The condition is present at birth but usually isn’t discovered until 3 – 4 years
- Diagnosis: x-ray
- Clinical features
- 1/3 are bilateral
- Coxa vara
- Fold asymmetry
- Abduction contracture
- Limping
- Treatment: Valgus osteotomy
