- Diagnosis
- Clinical -> characteristic rash
- Tzanck smear, PCR
- Treatment
- For pruritus
- Calamine lotion
- Pramoxine gel
- Oral antihistamines

- Only for severe cases or high-risk groups (adults, immunosuppressed)
- Acyclovir
- Post-exposure prophylaxis
