Renal angiomyolipoma
Renal angiomyolipoma is a benign hamartoma of the kidney. It’s comprised of blood vessels, smooth muscle and adipose tissue, as the name suggests. It’s more frequent in patients with tuberous sclerosis.

- Laparoscopic partial nephrectomy
- Indications for treatment
- Symptomatic tumours
- Large asymptomatic tumours
- Diagnostic uncertainty (low fat content)
