Metatarsalgia

• Metatarsalgia is pain under the MTP joint line, most commonly of the 2nd and 3rd toes (the toe-ball)
• Can be due to pes transversoplanus
• Treatment
  • Conservative – orthopaedic insoles or shoes
  • Surgical – Weil-osteotomy
