Description:
There are multiple greyish, glass-like foci, especially around the ventricles.
Diagnosis: Multiple sclerosis
Risk factors:
- Young females
- Genetic predisposition
- Smoking
- Vitamin D deficiency
- EBV infaction (recent (2022) finding)
Theory:
The lesions show the demyelination of the nerves. It’s especially typical to find them around the ventricles.
