Cheyne-Stokes breathing. Isn’t it weird how oxygen saturation increases in apnoea periods? It just looks like that because saturation is measured in the finger, and the oxygen loss that occurs because of the apnoea takes some time to reach the fingers. If saturation was measured inside the aorta would the periods of apnoea show lower saturation.
